Tamhis makes patients feel more secure, reduces unnecessary medical complaints, and makes it easier to sort out any problems they face, by using a simple process:
Patient / Plaintiff
experiences alleged malpractice incident and files a formal, substantiated complaint
(Private) hospital
accepts the request, preserves records, conducts internal investigation and notifies insurer
If NO malpractice:
case dismissed, patient may nevertheless appeal to the courts

If YES malpractice:
compensation determined (civil liability), disciplinary / criminal penalties possible

Final judgment, compensation paid, regulatory actions implemented
